As prom season approaches experts say teen drivers need to be cautious
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — Inside Professional Driving Systems in Kettering, the message is everywhere, “One of the things that I want parents to know is that they have a duty and they have a duty to do the best they can to keep their kids safe,” said Jeff Caldwell, training manager of Professional Driving Systems.
Caldwell is a former Kettering police officer who specialized in investigating deadly crashes. He now owns PDS, a place geared to stop crashes from happening, that starts with eliminating the distractions.
“People doing TikTok things, doing videos and showing pictures to one another when they are driving down the road,” said Caldwell.
Caldwell said it’s about preventing tragedies like the deadly crash that happened in Butler County just a few days ago.
