Zoombezi Bay welcomes guests back for a sneak peek before Memorial Day weekend
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ahead of Memorial Day weekend, Zoombezi Bay will welcome guests back this weekend as a sneak peek before opening for the full season.
The waterpark’s gates open for all members and season pass holders starting at 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Then, starting May 28, the park will be open daily for the full season until Aug. 12.
In addition to the schedule announcement, the park also revealed a new entrance that enters directly into the Zoombezi Bay. Before, guests had to go through the Columbus Zoo before getting into the waterpark.
The park’s new entrance is located between Big Boa Falls and Python Plunge, and it also has a parking lot. Officials said the new park entrance comes with enhanced security features, is more friendly for those with disabilities and has a new ticket building.
