COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — After a COVID-19 hiatus, fireworks will explode across the skies on Friday night in Columbus.
Red, White and Boom returns to downtown for its 40th year. Over 500,000 people are expected to attend the city’s largest single-day event.
Tuesday was delivery day. The shells for all the fireworks were unloaded and crews began setting up at Genoa Park.
