OhioHealth, Columbus State to build health care school

OhioHealth and Columbus State Community College announced a partnership to create a new training center to address workforce shortages in the health care industry.

According to a news release, the joint $120 million investment will drastically increase the number of professionals trained in five health care fields, addressing the need for patient-care specialists in central Ohio.

Over the next 10 years, Columbus State will double the number of students in nursing, surgical technology, medical imaging, respiratory therapy and sterile processing.
