National Stress Awareness Month: tips to limit and reduce stress

April is National Stress Awareness Month. Dayton 24/7 Now’s Gwyneth Falloon spoke with the experts to find out what is causing people to feel so overwhelmed and what you can do to cope with the stress in a healthy manner.

According to a survey conducted by the American Psychological Association, in 2022, 27% of participating adults said they were stressed most days to the point where they cannot function.

“Inflation, the cost of gas. Even this week the cost of gas has gone up higher as people are preparing to try and go visit friends for this holiday season,” warned Tina Rezash Rogal, Strategic Initiatives and Communication Director with Montgomery County ADAMHS.
