COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — April is World Autism Awareness Month, and one family is sharing its adoption journey through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program.
The program focuses on finding permanent families for children in foster care who are often overlooked, including those with special needs.
Dee Marks adopted her son C.J. when he was eight years old. C.J. has autism and was nonverbal at the time of his adoption.
