COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Jacy Sheldon hit a game-winning jumper against North Carolina to send the Ohio State women’s basketball team back to the Sweet 16 Monday night. After the final buzzer, the Dublin native immediately found her biggest fan in the stands who was waiting for her with open arms, her younger sister Emmy.
“She means everything to me,” Sheldon said. “And I think she’s made a huge impact on our team as well, which has been cool to watch.”
Emmy Sheldon, 15, loves the Buckeyes and rarely misses a game. She can be heard from the stands or seen on the court helping warm up the team with encouraging hugs and handshakes.
