What’s closed for the Christmas holiday?

in Community/Event/Local News

Sunday is Christmas, but the federal holiday is observed on Monday. Because of this:

• City of Columbus and other local governments, Franklin County and other county governments, State of Ohio and U.S. government offices will be closed Monday.

• There will be regular mail delivery Saturday/Christmas Eve. There is normally no regular mail delivery on Sunday, and there will be no regular mail delivery Monday for the observed holiday. Priority Mail Express mail will be delivered Sunday/Christmas Day in limited locations for an additional fee. Post offices will be open Saturday/Christmas Eve, though some may have limited hours. Check your local Post Office location for specific hours. Mail will be picked up at blue collection boxes on Saturday, but it is recommended you drop your mail in the collection boxes before noon regardless of what collection time is listed on the boxes. Otherwise, go to your local post office. Regular post office hours and mail delivery will resume on Tuesday.
