COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Columbus Blue Jackets return to Nationwide Arena Friday night for the team’s first home game of the season!
The Blue Jackets will host the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7 p.m.
Columbus kicked off its season opener on the road in Carolina on Wednesday. They fell to the Hurricanes 4-1. Patrik Laine scored the lone goal for the Jackets 11 seconds into the second period. Later in the period, Laine left the game due to an upper-body injury and did not return.
