Councils work together to help Columbus designers succeed

COLUMBUS, Ohio — As one of the fashion meccas in the U.S., Columbus is set to kick off its annual fashion week.

Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, explained that as Columbus designers look to leave a lasting imprint, CFDA is helping along with the Columbus Fashion Council by connecting them to opportunities.

“Opening the pipeline to designers that might not have the resources or the relationships to actually break into the industry in a bigger way,” Kolb said.
